Adequate Kit

Hello everyone,

So I purchased a kit for making wine, it can be found here I just wanted to know would it be possible to use some of this equipment in the brewing of beer? as I was hoping to go down that road in the future.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Too small, beer seems to be made in 5 gallon batches. Youve only got just over 1 gallon.

Some of the equipment yes. I do both and I use seperate buckets for fermentation. Both beer & wine leave a little scent in the plastic even after cleaning. Other than that I do overlap with the rest. Hydrometers scale works for both. I do use the same bottling bucket for both.

Northernbrewer sells one gallon kits, or you can take any regular kit and divide it by 5.

Thanks very much folks, I knew the buckets would be too small, but as long as I can use the other equipment that's brilliant!

I'll look at getting 25L fermentation buckets after Christmas
