I brewed my first original recipe Brown Ale a few weeks ago and it recently went into the keg for carbing.
When I did the recipe up in BrewSmith, I knew it was going to be light in the bitterness department, but ran with it.
So as I was transferring to the keg I gave it a taste. It was really good, but could use a little more bitterness to make it GREAT! (at least to my palette).

I was wondering, can you make a "hop tea" by boiling some hops for 60-90 minutes, and using it to increase the bitterness in a batch of kegged beer?

Just an idea. What do you think?
All comments welcome.

Carbonating the beer will make it taste more bitter. Taste it after it is carbonated; then decide if it is no bitter enough.
