Actual Sixtel Size

Hi All,

I'm just getting into home draft beer, and I'm in the process of sizing my fridge for kegs.

Very simple question: What is the actual size of a sixtel? Micromatic's diagram says a 9.25" diameter, while beveragefactory.com's diagram says 9" diameter.

I hear some of them have bulged walls while some of them are "perfectly" cylindrical.

Thanks, hopefully I can get my kegerator up and running within the next two weeks!

I say give room for the 9¼" kegs, maybe 9½ inches even and you should be fine.

Most of the ones I have are all the same diameter (coors and ab) with the exception of the Microstar ones which are larger in diameter. I don't know what they are exactly though. It's not much different, but the microstar's definitely fit a little tighter in my keezer.
