I am getting better at brewing beer, today I have brewed 2 gallons of beer
And didn't active the yeast right. I mixed most of a package of dry yeast with warm water and stirred it, I didn't Wait 15 minutes. The good thing is that it's got a small layer of foam 1/8 inch.
I brewed up another 2 L of beer and I activated the yeast just right. it's really bubbling. I can hear Air escaping so I think I did a good job

With only 2 gallons I doubt you really needed to rehydrate since the packet is meant for a 5 gallon batch. Since half the yeast would die immediately I would assume you would have enough yeast for a 2.5 gallon batch with little negative effects. Regardless, it's good practice. If it's already going than I'd say you did good too :)

Thanks😝 I feel more confident about my brew

Wait are you suppose to stir after you add yeast? And how thick are the bubbles suppose to be on top?
