I decided to try to use my local Cleveland, Ohio water as I've heard it's composition is pretty good for brewing. I'm intending on using Campden to remove the chlorine.

Will the chemical make up of the Campden change the water mineral profile? Plus, in the future I may want to do a Mosher's or Burten and would like to know if I have to do any adjusting.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not an expert so hopefully someone else will answer this, but you only use a very very small amount of campden. One tablet will remove the chlorine from 20G of water.

Yeah, you're only using a quarter of a tablet. Iirc it does contribute some sulfates to the beer, but we are talking a very small quantity.
