I pitched my starter into my ale last night, Im using a plastic bucket fermenter. I put it a little more than five gallons maybe 5.2 just to get a full five in my secondary later. But anyway, when I woke up this morning yeast was spewing out of my airlock.:D

I know I need blowoff tube, but my concern here is the sanitation of it.
I was thinking of putting a stopper and an airlock on a plastic jug and cutting a hole in the jug to put the blow off tube in. I'm not sure what to do here, sanitation is my concern, any suggestions?

make a blow off tube and take a small cup/measuring cup and fill it with sanitizer. place the cup of sanitizer on the floor next to the fermenter and put the end of the tube in it. This is basically an air lock because no air can go back into the tube and it will push the bubbles out through the tube and they will escape the water/sanitizer.
