Thats a pretty nice little story you wrote. I laughed when you said that you shook the carboy up a few times during the week and the hands on the turkey burner were pretty funny. So how did the 2nd batch go ?

I have all the goods for the next batch: A Dark Stout. I'm hoping to brew it Saturday morning. This time, I'm thinking that I'll boil 2 gallons of water, put it in a bucket, then add the extract and mix it up well, then add the wort to the turkey fryer for the 45 min boil. Hopefully it'll work out better this way.

Great story.

Those elements in your brewer sound like a real problem! Weren't they a tad hot on your fingers? <sizzle, sizzle!>
