No clue. Probably the same kind of fame as one of my favorite Childhood memories, "Buffalo Dick".

And his sidekick, "Buffalo Chip"!

I think they broadcast from the Flint area. I got a multiband radio from the folks one year and I would listen to all kinds of things, but especially I'd try to tune in the Buffalo Dick show, and Doctor Demento whenever I could.

That radio saw a lot of action, and I wore out the tape player on the Men at Work Cargo album and Huey Lewis and the News' Sports album, among others.

I met Huey Lewis in Ford's CEP#1 years ago when he was running for union committeeman. He said if he didn't make it in the union, he was taking his band to Cali. You know the rest.
