I'm getting ready to start a MH #9 clone, and the resepe calls for 3 oz of Apricot extract....two things:

I cant seem to find exactly how to add fruit to the secondary, do you simply drop it in? or lightly stir?

Secondly, any quick way of determining how much Apricot (like, the fruit) to use, instead of the extract?

anyone done this? i've read the hangovers can be bad, but i'm not sure if that is from making wort with honey or priming with it....

i'm thinking about atempting to prime my stout with it.
