6.5 gallon plastic conical fermenter

Does any one have or has anyone used one of the plastic conical fermenters they look pretty neat and reasonably priced way cheaper than stainless

I have the 8 gallon minibrew. Picked it up on here for $75. I actually have no used it yet because of temperature control concerns. I plan on modifying the base really soon so that it can fit in my freezer to use for lagers.

Yes - very nice. Open the racking port and out beer comes.
Open drain port and out comes trub or yeast depending on when you do it.
Cleaning easy with large opening.

Much easier than siphoning from the carboy.
Some people have found a diy solution too on here.

Hess gives you instructions on how to make your own. Requires a bit o' DIY spirit, but compared to anything else you'll likely find they're dirt cheap.
