I brewed a Galaxy Smash on Friday night. So I just moved my carboy out of the ferm chamber for a gravity reading and I decided to try a sample as well. I was completely shocked when I basically tasted apple cider. I've never taken a sample this early but this taste was just so far off from what I expected. Has anyone run into this before with positive or negative results. I'm really hoping it's not lacto or acetobacter but would just like to see if maybe my early sample and rousing of the carboy may have had anything to do with it.
