Wanted to know in what configuration people are running 3 way valves? I have two pumps, two keggles, 20 gallon mash tun.

Have been debating whether to go with 3 way tee and just go that route.

I use two 3-way valves in my 10 gal. system. The strike water is heated in the RIMS/MLT loop while the sparge water is heated in the HLT. The RIMS and the HLT each have 5500w-240v elements run at 120v. The BK has a 5500w-240v element run at 240v. It's all controlled from a BCS-462.

If I start to preheat the sparge and the strike at the same time, the sparge water gets to temperature when I am about half way through the mash. The valve system allows me to make no hose changes except to move the output of the CFC from either return to BK or to the fermenter while chilling.
