7.00 lb Extra Pale Liquid Extract
1.00 lb Wheat Liquid Extract
1.00 lb Cara-Pils/Dextrine
0.50 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 40L
0.50 lb Wheat, Torrified
0.50 lb White Wheat Malt
1.00 oz Fuggles [4.50 %] (60 min)
1.00 oz Fuggles [4.50 %] (30 min)
1.00 oz Amarillo [8.50 %] (15 min)
0.50 tsp Irish Moss (Boil 10.0 min)
1 Pkg Safbrew WB-06 Dry Wheat Beer Yeast

I threw this together a few days ago, hopefully it taste as good as it sounded in my head. Does anyone think it will be any good?
 
Thats a lot of Pale extract for a wheat beer. I'd toy with the percentages of wheat to pale malt thats in there, maybe more even, unless you're just going for a light wheat flavor. :) Maybe some lactose or oatmeal to add that creamy mouthfeel. Other than that, looks tasty. I'm all about Amarillo hops. If you haven't used them yet, they will blow your mind. :D Let me know how it goes!
 
Yeah, one thing to keep in mind is that wheat malt extract is only something like 60% wheat, with the balance being regular barley extract - so you really don't need to be too conservative with it. But, I'm sure it'll come out fine, especially if you weren't looking for a lot of wheat character.
 
Thanks for that information, I didn't know that. Too late now, I guess we'll see how it comes out.
