I did not brew last year due to some remodeling work we were doing on our house. I have a load of grain in stock that I've had since the fall of 2008. It's been kept in a dry location at temperatures between 65 and 80 F in an enclosed bin (breathable, but rat resistant).

Would this grain still be good for brewing? I have some large sacks, and I'm a little hesitant to just throw it out.

Thanks ahead...

I'm getting down to the last bits of some bulks grains, but its been a year since I got them and they're fine. Maybe inspect them visually and then taste them. If everything seems good, I'd go for it.

Mine is stored in its original bag, wrapped inside a heavy duty plastic bag, inside a plastic bin, fwiw.
