1st time pitching decanted after refrigeration. Is my yeast okay?

I made a 2.5L lager starter with 2 packs of Wyeast Hella-Bock. Put it in the fridge in the mid-upper 30's for about 4 days. Took it out and let it warm to pitching temp of about 53F. Decanted and left a bit to swirl. While decanting, the yeast seemed to "peel" off the bottom. Is this pretty normal? I wasn't expecting it to be stuck together.
