I have some 2 row that has been sitting around for awhile along with some cluster so im gonna make a american barley wine..i have a few packs of us05.. I calculated the og will be 1.104 i should probably rehydrate 2 packs right? i never made a beer of this magnitude cheers

Assuming a five gallon batch I would use 3, maybe 4 packs of rehydrated 05 for a gravity that large.

oh i forgot to mention its a 4 gallon batch..so 3-4 for a 4 gallon?

I would use 3 packs. High gravity beers need more cells. It would be hard to overpitch yeast in this beer and your fermentation will be healthier with the additional pack of yeast.

It's always better to overpitch than to underpitch if you are unsure. A high gravity beer is very stressful on the yeast and re-hydration is a must. 4 packs would be an appropriate amount of yeast for your beer and aerate it well.
