I have a 19 qt enameled lobster pot - will this work for a first-time extract brew kit?

cheers

ya but really small. better to go 30 qt or even 42 or more....

you'll need to be carefull to only have about 10 qt in your boil and use the anti-faoming drops

Maybe I'll just get a 30 qt turkey fryer kit and get double duty out of it.

thanks

For an extract kit you should be fine, most people start out with a 20qt pot when doing extracts so it will be a little less but I would go for it.

I started with a 16qt. pot. It was a bit small but it worked. 19qt. should be fine for extract.
