Hey guys... just thought i would share some photos from my first AG batch..

I did Ed's Haus Pale Ale..

I had a lot of fun doing it.. but I did have some trouble staying at 154 (I think it got down to 151 before I was all done.) So I am going to have to find some better insulation for my mash tun.

Fermentation just started (17 hours later) But it already looks delicious.

Unfortunately, I didnt think to get any pics of me mashing, but I do have some of the rest of the brew.. sorry for the bad quality.

Thanks for everyones help getting me to this point in brewing nirvana :mug:

I will post some pics up of the rest of the process when they come..

*edit*

forgot to mention that during this brew, i was able to break 2 thermometers (one glass, and one new digital probe) and my hydrometer..

Didnt know those probe cords shouldnt get wet.. oops.

Congrats! I wouldn't worry too much about the temp loss. Most of the conversion will happen in the first 20 minutes or so.

Let us know how it turns out!
