I received a shipment of hops today, and to my surprise the AA content of the Cascade leaf hops was listed as 10.3%. I'm not an expert by far (my 2nd batch ever is in the fermenter right now) and I know AA content varies from season to season and from farm to farm, but it seems incredibly high. Is this a fluke, a mistake or is this typical of 2011 Cascades? Here's where I got the hops from.

Update, for those interested: the supplier told me these Cascades were grown in the UK, and the high AA content is correct. They smell absolutely amazing and I can't wait to try these babies out :)
