1.5 L Grolsch Swing-Top

Has anyone tried bottling with those 1.5 L Grolsch Swing-Top bottles? I can get them at my local liquor store for $9 (full of beer). Has anyone tried reusing these and do they work OK?

I bottle apfelwine in them, they work fine.

yeah I gave one to my friend for Xmas and he bottled his Brown Ale in it...

I have one. I tend to use it as a growler most of the time now that I keg instead of bottle.

Have a party and see if you can get your friends to drink that nasty beer that comes in those bottles so you don't have to.
