Brewed a brown ale on 8/27 with an OG of 1.049 using the Wyeast Thames Valley yeast. Had a heating pad attached to the fermenter and the temperature was 70 degrees. Taking for granted that it had fermented out I went to keg this batch and when I checked the gravity it was 1.028 at 60 degrees. I've calibrated both the hydrometer and thermometer and I'm sure the gravity reading is correct. I'm stumped.
