“Bread in a Bottle” Recipe?

I woke up this morning with a thought in my head about potentially brewing a beer that would be, essentially, a liquid form of spice bread, supercharged, and put in a bottle. I think it would be a great holiday drinker. I’m still quite new to specific tasting notes of malts so can any of you veterans ring off some great recipes threads and/or grains I should be eyeing to fabricate a recipe? Much thanks

I know there are plenty of Banana Bread style ales out there but I’m envisioning less “sweet baked goods” and more “straight up....dark loaf of spice bread”

I'm not sure what exactly spice bread is, but stuff like munich base malt is dark and malty but not sweet. Balancing with enough bitterness will also make it not sweet.

Sounds like you're heading in a big Belgian kind of direction, so something like Belgian Dark Strong Ale - Westvleteren 12 Clone - Multiple Award Winner ???
