puree fruit mellow out

I just tasted a new apricot wheat that i made. I added 3oz of apricot extract and 4lbs of apricot puree. It is only a week old in the keg but the apricot flavor is stronger than I would hope. I was thinking, maybe like how dry hop aroma dissipates over time in a keg, so would the apricot...
