cork question

So I was able to score 25 glass skull bottles from Halloween, and as far as I can measure the bottle neck is around 3cm/30mm, while the taper at the largest is about 4.2c. I found some tapered 33mm corks, so my question is would I be able to soak and insert them, or do I need to carve them down...
