Knotty Pine and Cedar Log Keezer Build

That is awesome. My local breweries tasting room is done all in cypress and I wanted to do something like that with cedar and cypress but don't have the time or money.

This isn't universally true. I saved considerable money buying straight from my lhbs. It depends on your store so if you are looking to build, check around.

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

This is how mine is, like I said though, kegs are different. Not all ball locks are the same size/shape and they actually vary a lot. I have two that are identical in every way, except where the dip tube draws up liquid. I also have two pin locks that, they they both hold the exact same amount...

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

There are differences in manufacturer and as a result they have slightly different widths. My ball locks are really skinny. I can fit both of them, my skinnier pinlock, and my 20# tank with room to spare.

it's a 3" tower, using the micromatic style goosenecks and staggering them slightly it will fit fine, i already figured that part out. It would also keep the tower cooler for longer with the larger mass. It comes down to aesthetics really. As for the glass, it was $2.50 for 4 of them... which...

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

New style Holiday 7.0. That is a 20# tank, a wide pinlock, and a ball lock. I can just barely squeeze in another ball lock with that wide pinlock in there but with my skinnier pinlock or another ball lock I have plenty of room. The 20# tank also takes up roughly the amount of space another keg...

Here is the incomplete top of my new keezer. I'm going to be adding two more taps but debating on how before I finish it. What do you guys think? Add two more towers (more expensive but looks better) or add two taps to my current tower (cheaper but not as pretty.)

They switched brands that they buy from, the Holiday 7 could fit 4 kegs.

Get the cheaper one, use the extra money on other stuff you'll need (temp controller, wood if you build a collar, etc.)

    Slow Pouring Keg

Diptube has been cleaned. The keg was rebuilt so it SHOULDN'T be the poppet but I will check it one the keg is killed or if I have time to transfer to another keg.

    Slow Pouring Keg

The pour is fine on all of my other kegs, it is not the length of the line.

    Slow Pouring Keg

One of my kegs, regardless of serving pressure, pours extremely slowly. I have disassembled the keg and reassembled it multiple times without avail. ANy ideas as to what the issue could be? It seems to only happen with beer.... I dispensed some star san from it to sanitize my lines and it...

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

Just got the Holiday 7.0cuft. It currently has one pinlock and one ball lock along with my 20# CO2 tank inside of it. My other pin lock just barely doesn't fit but I think another ball lock would. With the tank on the outside or a small tank on the hump you could probably fit 4 ball locks. The...

    Storing full kegs

    1) not really and no, given equal conditioning time for both. 2) it might be a little sweeter.

    rbor freight 20# co2 tank 75 bucks

Yeah, based on the dimensions that really isn't a 20# tank.

    Beer Suddenly Flat

So I'm about 1/2 way through a keg of pale ale and all of a sudden the beer is suddenly pouring flat with no head. Two days ago I poured one with a nice solid 2" of foam. Beer temperature is 39oF, 6' of 3/16 micromatic beverage line, psi is set to 12. Plenty of CO2 in the tank, released the...

how to bleed a valve-less keg?

I have 3 kegs, two don't have valves. It's not a big deal. To answer your question though, none of my lids are interchangeable.
