My first recipe. I call it Citra Moon. It's the blue moon recipe with late Citra hops and citra dry hops. I like it a lot and it has been well recieved.

Muddy Creek Brewing Co. Brewery Build- Start to Finish Thread

I just wanted to say congrats. I read the entire threat today. Reading it all at once feels like I just binge watched an entire series of a TV show. Any rate, I am pretty far away so I doubt I will get a chance to taste your beer but I really enjoyed experiencing your journey. I wish nothing...

    Homebrewers Sound Like Drug Dealers

    6. We make deals using cash. My LHBS uses brown paper bags. Sometimes I will run there at lunch and my coworker will ask me to pick him something up. So...I am trading brown bags with undisclosed items in them for cash at my work place.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Doing my first all grain on Saturday. I got my new shiny equipment and my ingredients. I'll be making BierMuncher's Creme of 3 Crops Ale. It's a nice light beer for a beginner brew. Now I just need to stop reading and start brewing. :mug:

    Nitrogen (Beer Gas)

Sorry to say, but they served you a side dish of BS. You definitely do not need nitro to serve those beers. A stout faucet is great upgrade and it is a great way to serve beers on nitro, but it is not a requirement. However, no harm done if that's what you wanted. But.... You could have got...

    Nitrogen (Beer Gas)

Unless you have a stout faucet, you only need CO2. Nitrogen or nitrogen/CO2 mixes are required to serve beer at higher pressure without over carbing the beer.

Yooper's dog fish 60 min clone. This was an extract recipe. I added finnings into a carbed keg in the fridge. Let it sit for 10 days and transfered it to a new keg tonight. This is clearest beer I've made so far.

Time for a brew house! Our build.

WOW, that's awesome!!! I was actually looking last week at something very similar (at least the basic building). The inside would be plain. You have inspired me to think bigger.

    7 C's Hops

15 min pale ale I made the above recipe with centennial a couple of months back and liked it a lot. Basically I was going to do the same but with the 7 C's. I cut the hops down from 5 to 4 oz to match the AAU (10.3% vs 7.5%). I'd like to increase this to a 60 minute boil to extract more...

    7 C's Hops

I was doing a clone recipe of an ipa and they said this would pack a punch so it could be a replacement, not the same. It ended up being a few weeks before I got to make it and they got the recipe hops in stock so I didn't use the 7 c's.

    7 C's Hops

Has anyone ever used these hop pellets (blend of Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra, Cluster, Columbus and Crystal)? I was suggested them from my local HBS as a substitute. I ended up going back and buying the correct hops for the recipe, but now I have 4 oz of the 7 C's. I was going to make...
