That was my first thought, that the vanilla and caramel notes from the bourbon and oak would play nice with the honey. Was just second guessing myself as the brew and barrel are both a bit of an investment. Thanks!

I use an aquarium pump with a HEPA filter and a 0.5 micron stainless “stone”. Works good for me.

Hi guys. So, is there any reason that someone should not begin brewing by going the all grain route? I know that it requires more equipment, which costs more, but why not just jump in head first and go all grain? Thanks guys

Your problem is obvious and the solution is simple... You need to drink more! If you drink more you can brew more; thus reducing your per-pint cost. think "economies of scale"... :D
