Bought a bayou burner for my 5 gallon brews on amazon for $40. I have had nothing but a good experience with it. If you want to do 10 gallon brews you just might have to see how much weight those stands can hold

I would love to hear reviews on this if anyone gets it. Anyone know if the co2 mounts on the back?

I would wait a minimum of 2 weeks in primary and you need to take some hydrometer readings and wait until they stabilize to transfer.

Just brewed my first batch of the new year and first time brewing a RIS. Got to use some of the new gear I got for Christmas. Here's to brewing more in 2012!

Brewed it this fall, just wrapping up drinking it now. My OG AND FG was very similar to cheesecake's. The taste was great but the body was pretty weak. It almost came out more dark ale than stout for me. If I was to do it again I would add DME.

My misses let me pick out a new carboy which now means that imperial can sit for a few months while I brew through some other batches!
