According to my brew calculator I should use 4.68 oz of corn sugar before bottling for the desired Carb I want for my apa...does that sound about right for 4.5 gallons?
Thanks everyone.... another question I dry hopped in my carboy with whole hops. Should I transfer to my bottling bucket put a lid on it then cold crash for a few days? Or just cold crash my carboy?

How long is grain good for after crushed? Also if I just have my leaf hops in the bags they came in from fresh hops in the freezer how long are they good for? Just got a vacuum sealer, plan on vac sealing tonight...

1# crystal 40
1# caramel malt
2# honey malt
40 min steep at 155*
3# amber malt extract
1# light malt extract
Haven't figured out my hops yet any thoughts? In my freezer I have 5 oz...
Its the wood flavor I don't enjoy, just on the finish...I don't like red wine and it reminds me of that... other than that, its a very complex beer, just how it finishes with that oak barrel flavor kills it for me...
