    Made mistake brewing Northern Brewers Bourbon Porter.Added the liquidmalt at beginning of boil instead of at the last 15 minutes of the boil! (Used to mixing at the beginning like most of the recipes) How much will this affect my beer? Can I do anything to fix it? Still in primary fermenter..

    Hi Folks! Making Northern Brewers Bourbon stout. Need to do a yeast starter. Any recommendations on how much wort and yeast to use. Last time I used a wyeast pack and 1/2 cup of malt. Want to add a few more ounces of Bourbon this time. Do I need yeast now or at bottling? Thanks!

    Always use a secondary fermented and leave it in for the recommended time the kit calls for.I haven't. taken any gravity readings,unfortunatelly ! Feel better now from your advice! Will check gravities from now on and wait out thecarb process ..Thanks!

    Brewed my first beer last april.a whitbeer. After bottling it carbonated in two weeks. my last few brews,pumkin ale, bourbon porter and petite orange took up to 2 months to carbonate! temp in my basement is usually 65-75 degrees and have had very active fermentation activity. Have used both...
