    lets see those hopyards!!!!!

    Nah, not strong enough to tilt an extention ladder up on them. But at 8 tall, I can pick them from the ground.;) I anchored with rebar shoved into the ground, they sway a bit but have not come down.

    Last years hop yard here: fence to 5 foot, rebar to 10. Or how about some Hop Tubes: Have fun, spring is right around the corner!

    Home Made Hop Picker

    Cheers to inovation and the small scale organic farmer! Hopefully, folks will look back on your pioneering efforts in the North Fork Valley, and say man, remember when you made that first hop stripper...:mug: Best of luck for harvest 2009!

    Hops and chickens

    Just don't let the chickens scratch around the crown until the shoots are up a bit. They can really stunt your bine growth if they get hammered early in spring.

    Beers with Columbus Hops

    Try to find Anderson Valley's Hop Ottin IPA. A very tasty all columbus IPA. BTW, Does anyone here know what yeast Anderson Valley uses?
