    Just brewed a 5 gallon (well, almost 6) batch of Tasty's Janet's Brown ale. First one brewed with the wife, Probably my best brewday ever. Teaching someone seemed to just make everything go smooth. The extra pair of hands didn't hurt.

    Five gallons of my first all-grain brew. Made Denny Conn's Rye IPA. Can't wait to keg this one.

    Northern Brewer Replacement

    I did exactly the same thing and left a similar sentiment in my unsub message. I just can't support them after moving in this direction. I've got a pretty good LHBS that I buy most of my stuff from, so it's not like NB/Midwest is losing much from me in any case.

    I've got about 5.5 gallons of a Pliny clone kit I just hit with round 1 of dry hops. Round 2 goes in about 10 days or so.

    Considering moving to All-grain

    I'm thinking about making the jump from extract brewing to all-grain. What are some of the things that you wish you'd have thought of when you switched? I've got a decent burner, and a 10 gallon aluminum pot. I'll probably upgrade that pot, possibly using the 10 gallon aluminum as an HLT...
