    Thanks guys. I plan on correcting my system. Bought a keg and am in the middle of converting it to a keggle. Gonna be a while. Working .on a solution for the dead space in mlt. Until then ill have to make due. Thanks again.

    1. I somehow always come up short on my mash runnings. The problem is dead space in my mlt. If on short is it ok to just do a second sparge to get my pre boil volume where I need it? 2. I only have a 7gal brew kettle. So after the boil I almost always have less than 5 gallons of wort. Can I add...

    hydrometer broken.

    Well I brewed today. Went to take a OG reading and realized my hydrometer was cracked. Happened to anyone else? Just have to guess on OG and ABV.

    Hey all. Been brewing for a while. But its too hot where I live and I can't brew during the summer. So first brew today in a while. Shooting for 153 for my porter and got 148. Never been that low. Will I have problems?
