    What could be wrong with my C02 System

    It's a brand new regulator and the gasket between the tank and reg is new. I'm not sure what other gastkets and o-rings you are refering to. What do you mean by using lube? Sorry but I'm obviously new at this

    I've gone through 2 full Co2 tanks on about 4 gallons of beer. After the first tank I switched to a new regulator and thought that would solve the problem. this is not the first time my C02 tank runs out fast. I need help as to what is could be.

    Where should my Water PH Be

    My water report has the Alkalinity at 40. Reason I ask is because last batch had a mash PH at 6.0. I was making a Pilsen.

    My water has a PH of around 8.8. I have some Phosphoric acid that I want to add and would like to know what I should bring the water down to. The local brew shop told me to bring it down to around 5.4. Any suggestions would be great. JimZ

    Beersmith has a section to enter info using your local water report. My report gives me total Alkalinity and total hardness but does not give me the bicarbonate level in HCO3. All the other variables like magnesium and calcium are on the report. I'm trying to understand the report so I can...
