    Neomexicanus Hops!

I've looked but not having any luck right now. I get peach, apricot, cantaloup, and some citrus! They are incredible and unique! I really would love to grow them! As low AA% as they are they would make amazing pale ales IMHO!

    Neomexicanus Hops!

Does anyone have know a supplier that sells these, or sells crowns or rhizomes!? I know there are only like two beers brewed with this hop, and it's unlikely I will find them but it's worth a shot! They are unbelievably delicious!!!!!

Yeast, when willl my body adjust?

For me it's hit or miss.... I Fine, cold crash, and keg too. I notice certain yeast strains work in me worse than others. Belgians, and sours hurt my guts the worse!

Is it OK to add water after racking?

Leave it alone.... It wouldn't surprise me if you lost a half gallon to yeast cake and trub from primary.

Why do I not use Centennials more often?

Brewed a Centennial RyePA today, and when I opened the bag of hops my nose went straight to heaven! Like I was standing in a peach orchard thats was blooming like crazy! I haven't done a beer with that hop variety in a while and every time I do it reminds me of why I should. Love me some...

    Bulk aging temp

They could kick the bucket depending on what strain and the alcohol tolerance they have. Sitting dormant for three months.. I know I would probably pitch a little yeast just to be safe if I still bottled. I keg and force carb so no need to worry for me!;)

    Bulk aging temp

70 will be fine.. Just make sure you check the airlock from time to time and make sure it has not evaporated empty. You should be fine, but if you are worried about carbonation you could add some yeast when you go to bottle.

    Few questions

I have used strawberries several times and never done anything but washed them.... I would not leave the beer on the fruit for very long... Maybe 3 weeks max. Cold crash it afterwards and then bottle it and bottle age it... You don't want to rack it an extra time just to get it off the fruit...

Ok I would be tickled to get a decent first year havest.

    Dry hop in keg?

I do this all the time... I prefer to use leaf hops over pellet because the pellets hops turn into a sludge in the hop bag and some end up in my glass when I pour. I typically use 1-2oz in a fine mesh bag and a marble to sink them... All sanitized o course. Go ahead and toss them in while you...

    A couple HOP questions?

Crowns VS Rhizomes... What am I more likely to get a decent first year harvest? I work in the turf industry and have for years so I have plenty of plant knowledge when it comes to Irrigation, fertilization rates, and pest management. The question I am most interested in is this. If I do...

Am I going to be late?

Ok awesome! This is what I was wanting to hear... I wanted to order crowns the last week of April so that I can have them in by the end of the first week of may... I figure everything is a little behind schedule since we have had such a long winter

Am I going to be late?

So I was wanting to start a hop garden this year and had plans to. I now am moving the first of may (SW OH). I have. Perfect place to grow, a big elevated porch that I can run twine up to, and lots of sunlight. I was hoping to get to harvest some hops this year. If I shop and plant 1st week of...
