    Moonshrimp Brewing-A gluten free microbrewery

This is probably a dumb question so I hope you'll forgive me, but couldn't they just let you level the floor of the doorway so that you could put a step in? Like, in the doorway and not on the sidewalk?

    Heating Wart After Protein Rest

Then I don't see why that wouldn't work. Though let me link Palmer's equations for infusion temperatures, in case you haven't seen them: http://www.howtobrew.com/section3/chapter16-3.html

    Video Games

Sooooo Dark Souls II comes out this friday, anyone else buying it? I called one of my local Gamestops and the girl tells me that not only are they doing a midnight release, but they're also providing snack foods as well. MY BODY IS READY.

    Heating Wart After Protein Rest

I need some clarification, are you talking about heating the wort, then adding it back to the tun?

To join? Or not to join? AHA

As its been said, Zymurgy alone is worth the price. It has ads like any other magazine, but they're tailored to brewing obviously so even the ads are nice for seeing new products or hops etc.

    Waste??

I have a friend that will drink pretty much anything, so I give him some sometimes. If the beer is just flat out terrible though... it gets poured out. I've also had success using bad beers to make good bread, so there's that.

    Noob thinking about starting brewing

Like others have said I'd keep trying new beers and figuring out what you like first. Of course in the meantime you could always pick up a clone kit like this or this one and just use a california common/kolsch/steam yeast. That would give you the lager character but you could ferment it much...

Adding fruit for a little flavor/aroma

I usually do fruit in a secondary. Less issues with headspace mainly.

    Temperature Control

Well I learned something new. I suppose that makes more sense anyway.

    Temperature Control

Just a random thought, but one thing that I've found helpful was to set the temp setting on my freezer to the weakest possible. When I had the freezer on a stronger (colder) setting, whenever it turned on it just went balls to the wall and makes a wider temp range than I want. As always, YMMV.

    BeerSmith 2 Sucks for Me!

Are you talking about the amounts? Because BS can be set to sort those automatically, which is what might be confusing you. I dunno. Pics for ref, notice that increasing the amount of carapils has moved it:

10 Things I Love About 1 Gallon Brewing

I would prefer to have more bottles out of each batch, but 1g are still my preferred method of brewing right now. I still do 5g batches, but if I only did 5g every time I'd only be able to do like 6 batches a year. 1g is less efficient but I can do them almost any evening. Being able to brew...
