    My mead.... No alcohol?

Well I greatly appreciate all the help guys and apologize for being a helpless noob. This weekend I'm going to make a nice chocolate or milk stout and I learned from my mistakes, this time everything will be closely monitored and recorded! Thanks again.

I'll just leave it then, it's very refreshing and sweet so I'm just gonna check it for the next three days, bottle and drink! Thanks!

    My mead.... No alcohol?

The gravity on it is 1.03... So I'm gonna just leave it for now and get some new yeast this weekend assuming it's worth it.

    My mead.... No alcohol?

I racked it 4 days ago and upon tasting it, it had almost no noticeable alcohol flavor and I ended up with about 2.5 gallons cause I left all the yeast poop that was swimming on top and the bottom, so I added water and...

    My first mead... Problems...

I'm letting it bubble bubble bubble down there, and I think it's going well, my only concern is the brown stuff that's caked around the top, could I use it to make a cider?

    Krausen as yeast?

So I'm currently fermenting my first brewing experiement it's a sweet mead with plums, and I was thinking that it might be interesting to transfer it into a new carboy, fill the old one with the plum residue and the thick brown krausen with cider and let it do it's thing, then I figure I'll get...

    My first mead... Problems...

So, I went out bought a carboy and airlock and some sweet mead yeast basically made malkores ancient orange mead but with plums and prunes, the guy at the brew store told me to use the whole packet for three gallons. So I did, now here's my issue, I made it left three inches from the top and...
