    Yea It was def. I'n boil off or not enough when I sparged I will next time mark my bins so I know exactly how much I have. So pretty much I have a batch of 3 1/2 instead of 5 nothing I can do now right?

    I do know you put the gas on the beer side to force carbonate but I wanna try let it do what it needs to do on it's own thanks for the advice as well

    So I got my second batch on tap today have it all setup running threw the lines now my question is how long do I let it carbonate before I can try it? I have the regulator set at 10psi haven't rolled it or any thing like that just hooked the lines up and that's how it is sitting now

    I have brewed 2 batches now using the extract kits from a local brew shop and they have came out amazing, I want to try a black lager next but have heard that when it ferments it needs to be at a controlled colder temp. Any advice I should know before trying a lager?

    Just answered my own question as I read the sheet it came with, the og says about 1.052 and fg says 1.011-1.015 looks as if it's close to being at fg correct me if I'm wrong but should this be when I put it in secondary and wait a couple weeks then bottle it?
