    Dave's Carmel Apple Cider

    I did the same thing, and there is still sediment in the bottom of most of my bottles. Taste wise you don't really notice it, but if you pour it into a glass you can see it. Would it be okay to add the syrup to the primary and then rack on top of the apple juice concentrate to reduce the amount...

    I was reading in another thread that you should only use 1 can of apple juice concentrate per 5 gallon batch because of bottle bombs. I think I may try using half and see what happens.

    If you use pasteurized cider, do you still have to pasteurize at the end of the process before bottling?
