I have been waiting two weeks for my 12 oz bottles. My caps are brand new. I will try the corn sugar with my next batch.

I am using the Cooper's drops. The 12 oz were fine at 60 degrees.

The bottles are brand new. The washers are the one's that came with them. My local brew store said they should not be the problem. They were at a lost at why they were flat. Can i carb them some how? I hate to lose all that beer:(

How long can you age before the beer starts to go bad? I have been brewing for camping trips this summer and I was wondering how long can I age the beer. I am brewing Cooper's Pislner with two pounds of lite malt.

Ok, I am santizing in cold water as we speak. Is it Ok to let them soak till Thursday? That's when I am bottling.

I read in a thread last night that I could santize my bottles by putting them in the dishwasher with a cup of bleach. I have a book named Brewing made easy that says hot water desttroys bleaches santizing properties. Is this true?

Now that you mention it one I had in the fridge for about a week was more carbonated then the ones I had put in the night before. I guess I will just have to bottle some more!

I let my beer carbonate for two weeks. It seemed to be about half carbonated. However I was reading that the higher the acohol percentage the lower the carbonation. This batch was 8%. Is this true?
