Easiest Kegerator Build - Danby DAR482BLS

+1 I built my kegerator from the dar4882bls with no issues. Drilled a 1 1/4" hole and fit two 1/2" diameter copper tubes through it for chilling the tower.

Not a bad idea. I'd refrigerate it after it soaked a while then skim off the fat

    Sweet Stout Deception Cream Stout

I made this quite a while ago and I've been letting it sit in bottles. I ran upstairs to grab a screwdriver to mount a new cartridge on my turntable and witnessed a swing top bottle blow out the bottom. Man it smelled good! Obviously I put one in the fridge

    Summer Olympics 2012

Looks like the USA is off to a good start! Our volleyball squads are doing really well, got a few medals in swimming, and our lady gymnasts look strong. So far my favorite moment of the Olympics (or any television for a while) has been the following:

    Man, I love Apfelwein

I haven't done any other batches besides the one with 212. Nice and strong apple flavor, somewhat tart like a dry white wine, and utterly delicious!

    Man, I love Apfelwein

Well well well. I finally got to taste this beast, and I must say it lived up to the hype! 3 months in primary, 1 month bottles. I used Lavlin RC-212 which may be my go to yeast for the 3rd time I make it (haven't used the Montrachet yet). Both my parents, who are seasoned wine drinkers, both...

    BIAB Bag Sewing Machine

They're just not big enough to allow for the grains to really swim around and get fully saturated. I have the same pot as the op and it can fit inside my grain bag, leaving lots of room for happy times
