    Drying out kit wine

    I have made several wine kits and they seem to turn out sweeter than similar store bought wines. I was thinking of using diffrent yeast to dry it out, or looking for grape skins. I am pretty new to wine but have been brewing beer for a while.

    Meadowfoam mead

    I just started my first mead. 5 gallons made with 12 lbs meadowfoam honey. I was thinking of using some medium toast oak in secondary and possibly vanilla beans in the secondary. Any suggestions? Has anyone used meadowfoam honey, if so does it keep its vanilla /toasted marshmallow nose after...
