pork tenderloin recipes - help me out!

I grill mine usually, or bake it in the oven. My girlfriend and I came up with a simple recipe that works well. Ingredients: We take a 1 to 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin. Sliver some garlic cloves and stab the fat side of the tenderloin and insert the slivers into the holes. Usually like, 4 or 5...

    Fermenting Tea Idea's

Sure you can. Agave is nectar from the agava plant. Agave plant is used to make tequila. It's a sweet syrup much like honey. It's expensive. You can always you sugar. I would suggest a raw cane sugar of some kind. The thing to worry about when it comes to refined sugar like table sugar is, it...

    Fermenting Tea Idea's

Ok, just whipped up a batch. Here is what I did. Half gallon batch (decided to do a small test and not waste ingredients) 12 tea bags 8 ounces (by weight) agave syrup. Mixed agave and hot tap water, then added tea bags. Let steep for a while. Took brix reading (10 brix at 80 degrees.) about...

    Fermenting Tea Idea's

Hah, yeah I haven't done it YET. I plan on whipping some up today while at work. I only have US-04/05 and Cotes de Blanc on hand, so I'm not sure what I'll put in there. I'd prefer not to back sweeten and I'm not looking for anything really high in alcohol, so I may just load it up with enough...

    Fermenting Tea Idea's

It's delicious. Agave is a lot sweeter by volume than sugar, so that's why I use so little in a 2 quart batch. Though the nice thing about agave is that it will mix completely into cold water, so you can just sweeten it by the glass with a vigorous swirl. It is also less refined and has a lower...

    Fermenting Tea Idea's

I recently thought about looking for hard tea recipes. I love to brew beer but I do not have a lot of time as of late, or money. I haven't done and research on hard tea yet, but I ALWAYS make iced tea in the summer. My recipe goes: 12 Lipton Tea bags 1/4 cup Agave nectar 2 quarts water...

    Sam Adams..... Ales?

Also, some people are just idiots. My local Market Basket (regional chain in New England) had a big display of Budweiser American Ale when it first came out, with hand written signs that said "Budweiser American Lager, NEW!" Any, after that, they started carrying Kona brewing beers, which are...

Why the UK is better than the US

LOL really? American football is played with LOTS of safety gear and padding... UK Football is just as rough and they don't wear padding. Sean From NH

    Yuengling: My Savior

Yuengling is good! It has a REALLY big following with Firefighters (at least, here in New England) because of this huge training facility in PA, my uncle usually brings cases back from NY and PA when he goes on official FD business, and his guys bribe him with cases to get time off. Calling all PORTER lovers...what are your favorite 3?

If you're ever in the area of New England, Mayflower Porter hands down. Then Smuttynose Robust Porter. It's really hard to pick a third. But I think Mayflower Porter scored an A on BeerAdvocate. Sean From NH

Brewstand build, hows it look so far?

Yeah I'm taking that into consideration. I don't plan on resting the kegs on that shelf. I want them to be free floating above the burner on the pivot, because after time that rack will most likely melt! Other than that I don't think the heat will matter too much anywhere else on the stand...

Brewstand build, hows it look so far?

Well I'm building a brew stand, to keep all my stuff together and hopefully make it easier for me to brew all grain and save me some time. Here is a rough picture of it so far. And here is an idea sketch: I'm on a really low budget, so some of my ideas are to save money, 1...
