    i dont know what i did to my ipa to be honest. I pulled a gravity reading from it every other day for 6 days to make sure it was staying at the FG. IT was ready hoppy then though, i sampled each time. The airlock issue is what im thinking it has to be.

    Cold Crash Question

    I am cold crashing for the first time and I have had to refill my airlock 3 times in the past couples days. Is there something I can do to avoid this from happening? I don't want an infected cream ale!

    I was pouring my wort into my fermenting vessel tonight and the sack i got from the homebrew store had a hole in both sides. Should i wait for primary to do its work then transfer or strain it tomorrow and repitch some new yeast?
