Ya. I can get you a shipping quote if you'd rather. I was against shipping mostly cause I'm lazy but if that works better I can see what I can do.

Neato! Hopefully the project won't stall out and die now Hopefully this stays updated and I can delete my Facebook account finally. It's the only reason I still have one lol

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

So I flashed that image. I included a wpa_supplicant.conf like I always do cause hooking my raspi up to lan is not feasible, the way it's mounted and such out in my shed. But it won't connect to wifi. Any idears? I took apart my controller and hooked it up to the ethernet. Everything is...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Thanks for that! I've been wanting to try it. Maybe I'll install it on another SD card and fire it up tomorrow.

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

I haven't yet. The original CBPI4 repo is definitely not, but I've been loosely following the clone and he's been putting in some solid work on it. If I get more free time I might give it a shot.

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Craftbeerpi4 (other than a specific fork I haven't tried yet) doesn't have the most basic functionality to run a home brewery. The developer was making a lot of good progress then fell off the map. Cbpi3 he made functional before he fell off the map. There is a developer that made a branch of...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Your process seems sound. I'm not 100% clear on your question. I'm guessing what you are using is Beersmith 3, not brewsmith. If you are concerned about strike temperature (the temperature in the hot liquor tank aka your mash in water) being able to compensate for temperature loss due to...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

I can't help you with the xml file stuff beyond what I've read and it's kinda a crappy system. CBPI4s recipe system looks greatly improved. Haven't seen much in the way of an updated release client in a while. Really hoping he doesn't abandon the project like he did CBPI3. If you are going to...

    RIMS

I've been trying to figure out the best way to mount that same rims tube for a bit. Never even crossed my mind to use strut for some reason. Thanks!

Tilt hydrometer in a SS Brew Bucket

About 12ish gallons of water in the keg. What I normally put into the keg pre fermentation. Before I used the site glass I was getting 99dbm, updates every 40-60 seconds. Now it's 65-75dbm updates every 2-4 seconds.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Thank you. I didn't realize that would be required. Bummer.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Is there a basic setup guide or video I seem to have missed? I was able to flash the firmware, and manages to feel my way through getting my 1 wire sensors to read. Tried working on getting my HLT kettle setup. Starting simple first. Just an SSR powering an element and a small pump. Got...
