    Would you keg/drink this

    Brewed 10 gal of chinook ipa 3/24/12. Kegged 5 shortly after it finished and the other 5 has been sitting idle since today when I decided it was time to keg it. Pulled the lid off the fermenter and this is what it looked like. What would you do. Is it ok or apparently not?

    Calculating water loss to boil

    So I'm about to do my first AG batch and wanted to find my water loss to evaporation over a hour. I boiled 5 gallons and was left with 2.5. That seems like a huge loss. Is that normal?? I can remember reading about people losing a gallon or so but that seems pretty crazy.

    Behind the wall air cooling coffin box

    Check out this tap box for mounting behind the wall. A buddy made this for me and he is also doing a 4 faucet mount backsplash with integrated drip tray out of stainless steel. I'm running my two 3" PVC lines for air cooling from the keezer to this box on the wall behind my bar.
