Has anyone tried doing this? It seems like an easy way to mantain temp in the BK using a 3 way switch. I haven't found any threads on this (yet).

Anyone ever tried using the cut out bottom of a keggle (with drain on bottom) as a false bottom and adding some SS screening to help filter hops? Want to use it on my BK that I am building...thought it might work well. Thanks!
