These Beersmith 2 profiles may be a place to start for brewers using the software. I got them to a point where I was happy enough with them, but they are far from perfect. They are built from the profile of a brewer named Snow on the Beersmith forum.

DeGarre, just set your boil temp to 102 for the boil phase ... Section 4.5 and 4.6 in the manual. Just press the up arrow twice before starting the boil.

Mako, have you checked your leads and cables are all secure? Particularly from controller to pump. Looks like the computer is working okay ...just not getting signals to your pump. Did you prime (or "ventilate") the pump before running the schedule? ...just thinking out loud really. I hope...

I stand my BM50L on top of a sanke keg that I cover with a circular piece of marine grade ply. Perfect height for lifting malt pipe (I use a small step-stool to stand on) and good height for positioning carboys, kegs etc under tap. I also like that I can move around the BM freely and access it...

My first batch output volume was 40L and a higher OG than my expected target. The second batch was 50L and right on target OG after a "sparge" at mash out. Basically, after lifting the malt pipe out I ran about 1 litre per Kg of 80°C water through the malt pipe while the temperature is rising...

Thanks Yambor44. I'm from the BIAB school of brewing originally, and have been playing around with a few different profiles based on the BIAB experience ...I was just interested to see if anyone has actually got a profile nailed down for the Braumeister. Thanks again for the welcome ;-)
