    Plating Yeast & Selecting Colonies

Great writeup! Good comments too! If you notice that there is too much condensation on the lids of the petri dishes, incubate them UPSIDE DOWN and handle them upside down. This way the condensation won't drip onto your colonies and wash growth across your plate.

Best way to store your equipment

I don't like storing anything in my bottling bucket. I can, however, fit my immersion chiller, thermometers, and a bunch of brew day stuff in my brew pot. I then flip its lid upside down (handle into the pot) and stack on top of it. Keeping items necessary for a task together is always a time...

    What is eating my Centennials?

Unless you find a bug on a cone, I would not immediately think it was a bug. Any signs of mildew? What is your watering/fertilizing routine? Maybe the cones are burnt, not eaten.

How much oxygen is enough on a high gravity wort?

    1. I don't know this answer. Are you going to buy an oxygen sensor? 2. There are many methods that are successful (pouring as you did, shaking, whipping during whirlpool). I prefer splashing during my transfer into my vessel. My questiion to you is: What is your pitching method for the...

    Bottles to avoid. Proffered bottles?

I stay away from Dos Equis bottles. I CANNOT get the labels off using the tried and true Oxiclean soak. Bithead, do you have a method to easily remove labels for these?

    Transporting fermenting beer

I would really hope that a LEO would let that slide. Play dumb. Definetely have ZERO alcohol in your system so that you can suggest a breathalizer if need be. Are you crossing state lines? If so, you need to change your handle to "Smokey" ....and the Bandit
