REX-C100 PID (cheapest PID on ebay)

Thanks. I played around with my PID's and I think I may have jsut gotten a bad reading on the first day. The 2 seem to both be reading the same, and correct value. I will keep the Sc in mind for later though. THanks.

REX-C100 PID (cheapest PID on ebay)

I got a pair of Rex-c100s on ebay with a thermocouple and SSR, and it indeed is the SSR output (I would say obviously, but it's from China afterall so nothing can be assumed) I powered them both up to see if they worked, and they did, BUT one was reading my house te4mp correctly, and the other...

can you tell my hop plants apart?

And here is what I believe to be nugget. I do recall the more compact leaf structure on the first few bines, I am just unsure since it is growing faster than the cascade

can you tell my hop plants apart?

First off, go flyers go! Second off, here are some pics. I haven't mastered the focussing on the playbook, so sorry about the blurriness. Here is a picture of what I think to be cascade:

can you tell my hop plants apart?

OK, to make a short story long, last month during our warmest march ever I planted my hop rhizomes into their new home. Due to unforseen mold growth and other mishaps I lost the labels on my rhizomes...so I don't know which is which! I remember last year (my first year with them) my cascade...

Growing hops beside pine and spruce trees

Hey all, I recently moved and brought some nugget and cascade rhizomes from my old place. I am figuring out where I am going to plant them. I have decided to plant them along the back of my property along the metal fence. This gives southern exposure, it's far from the road so no dust and...

    Pairing Beer with Cigars...

Oh, maybe it's the nicotine then. You get a whallop of it from a cigar, it just soaks into your mouth instead of your lungs.

    Pairing Beer with Cigars...

forgive my ignorance, but why do you avoid cigars due to being a runner? if you smoke outside the wind carries any smoke away from you so you don't inhale it...

    Pairing Beer with Cigars...

try out a CAO MX2, they are available to you americans, and rather inexpensive. The MX2 stands for double maduro, so they have quite a bit of complexity and richness that would stand up well to that beer.

    Pairing Beer with Cigars...

I like CAO MX2 for something malty like a porter or stout, and I prefer something grassy like por laranaga for lagers. I also find that cohibas go quite well with any ale that doesn't have too much hop character.
